Iris opened in September 2005. The creation of Sarah Claassen and Annie Pollet, friends and local mums who both live in Queens Park. The pair felt that Iris would offer the area that they love the one thing that it was missing - a gorgeous place to shop in.

Annie who has had an extensive fashion background working for the likes of Calvin Klein, Nicole Farhi and Earl Jean had the necessary contacts needed for the venture and Sarah put the business plan together. The instant success of their venture proved that they were exactly right in their concept of what the area needed.Iris stocks some of the most fashionable brands out there such as Isabel Marant, Vanessa Bruno, By Malene Birger, American Vintage and APC but manages to mantain a local and friendly feel to the boutique. The popularity of the flagship store in Queens Park led them to venture out with a second store on the lively Northcote road in Battersea which has been as great a success story and just last year a third branch in Chiswick opened on the Chiswick High Road.
